The Lowfield-based St Vincent de Paul Society provides essential furniture and household items to families and people facing hardship in all its forms.
His Christmas call for kindness goes out on November 30 and runs throughout the month of December. It will raise funds for the work of the SVP at the local level and thanks to donors, all contributions will be matched pound for pound up to £ 45,000.
