Las Vegas Market Plans for Expo’s Biggest Temporary Exhibits

The Las Vegas Market will feature its largest temporary exhibits yet at Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas, filling the facility with an international collection of hundreds of top brands highlighted by new pavilions and events across the fair from July 24 to 27, 2022.

“The temporary Las Vegas market exhibits are the place to find this summer,” said Scott Eckman, executive vice president of International Market Centers (IMC), chief revenue officer. “From wall to wall, the Expo will be brimming with exciting new products in gifts and home décor. Each category has must-have brands, and new storefronts bring new resources to market.

Las Vegas Market’s hundreds of temporary exhibits showcase gifts and home décor products from established and emerging brands across six Expo destinations at World Market Center Las Vegas: Gift, Home, Design, Handmade, Luxury and immediate delivery. The presentation is enriched with nearly 40 cross-category brands that are new to the Las Vegas market or returning after a break highlighted by Ashore Lighting (crafts, lighting and luxury furniture), Good Luck Sock (socks), Mermaid Perfume (personal care), Poppy & Pout (personal care), The Global Trunk (home décor), Trvl Design by ID Accessories (travel accessories), Vital Industries (glassware and tableware), We The Wild Plant Care (care plants), With Co (cocktail mixes) and more.

The growth of new brands and the return of brands after pandemic pauses, coupled with significant re-engagements and booth expansions, expanded the footprint of temporary Las Vegas market exhibits to fill Expo just four markets after the the purpose-built facility will open in winter 2021, Eckman reports.

International expansion

The Summer 2022 Las Vegas Market marks a major step in the return of the internationality of the shopping event with exhibitors from 15 countries (Australia, Chile, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Iceland, India, Indonesia , Italy, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Sweden and Turkey). These unique exhibitors will be highlighted via a new tour featuring HGTV’s Bargain Block duo Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas and Rue Magazine’s Managing Editor, Kelli Lamb, who will discuss their favorite stories on Monday, July 25.

International highlights include Amigos de Hoy (ethically sourced leather products from Australia), Aquavireo AB (linens from Sweden), Banwood (design-oriented children’s bikes from Spain), Elitis (wallcovering, fabric and accessories from France), Glasshouse Fragrances (candles and from Australia), Lissoy (household linen from France), Nature’s Collection (Danish interior products), Neem (clothing and home collections using indigenous Indian textiles), NØRDIK (representing 13 sustainable Scandinavian decorations, textiles, tableware, accessories and gifts), Pappelina (rugs from Sweden), Treko Chile (high quality woolen pieces using the textile traditions of the artisans of Chiloé in Chile), Zafferano America (table tops and high-end lighting fixtures oriented Italian design) and more.

New pavilions introduce information lines

The Las Vegas Market spotlights unique designers in two new pavilions showcasing women-owned brands, greeting cards and stationery products.

Some 12 women-owned brands — spanning health and wellness, apparel, accessories, skincare, home decor, and food and beverage — identified by VP of Social Impact ‘IMC, Vanessa Bruce, will be featured in a new showcase designed to showcase values-based commerce. These first-time exhibitors are coming to the Las Vegas market through the Bruce’s Dough Network of women-owned brands which was acquired by IMC in early 2022. Bruce is leading a roundtable with select flag sellers to explore the importance of weigh the ethics and values ​​of a brand when sourcing on Sunday July 24 at 2 p.m.

The Greeting Card Association (GCA) plans to bring its GCA Village to the Las Vegas Market to showcase member brands offering greeting cards, personalized and printable invitations, gift wrap, journals, planners, notebooks and more Again. The full list of member brands will be announced soon.

Activity on the Exhibition Floor

The Expo Seminar Room returns for summer 2022 with a full slate of educational activities, events and celebrations. In addition to the Dough Panel, buyers can attend the FIRST LOOK Seminar, Market Orientation and more in the space. The Expo Seminar Room also hosts the Gift + Stationery 40 Under 40 – Meet + Greet Celebration awards and a GC Sip & Shop buying group. The state-of-the-art 315,000 square foot exhibit at World Market Center Las Vegas is contiguous with Building C, one of three permanent exhibit buildings that make up the World Market Center Las Vegas campus, facilitating a continuous flow of traffic between temporary exhibitions and the permanent showrooms of the market. LVMKT Gift & Home Temporaries at Expo are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, July 24 through Tuesday, July 26, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 27.
