Modsy unveils virtual renovation design service

SAN FRANCISCO — Modsy, a state-of-the-art interior design platform that offers highly realistic, shoppable 3D designs of customers’ real homes, has launched a first-of-its-kind virtual renovation design service.

The new service allows consumers to view home improvements using 3D technology and virtual brand tours before construction begins.

Using Modsy’s proprietary technology, customers receive hyper-realistic 3D designs created in collaboration with one of the brand’s expert designers, allowing them to fully visualize and virtually navigate their new space. With Modsy’s renovation designs in hand, contractors, builders or architects will have everything they need to bring the renovation or new construction project to life.

Modsy provides expert finishing and fitting recommendations combined with realistic visualization. Once construction begins, Modsy designers can work directly with service professionals to ensure the final vision is delivered.

“At Modsy, we are transforming an industry by combining design and technology in unique ways,” said Shanna Tellerman, Founder and CEO. “Launching the Renovation Design service was the natural next step for our clients and our proprietary 3D platform.”

Unlike other location-based offerings, Modsy’s home improvement design service is available to customers across the United States, bringing the first virtual home improvement design solution to consumers everywhere. The service can be used for renovations of any type of room, including kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor patios, structural additions, decks and more.

At the heart of Modsy’s new renovation design service are the brand’s high-quality, photorealistic 3D designs and virtual tour technology offering a 360-degree view of the space.

Modsy’s expert design team helps source all materials, fixtures and finishes from Modsy’s list of preferred suppliers, including Home Depot, Lowe’s, Best Buy, Wayfair, Floor & Decor, HNI, Key, Tilebar and more yet to fit consumers’ style and budget.

To ensure pricing transparency, Modsy charges per room rather than per hour, with an introductory price starting at $999 per room. Guests receive a discounted rate for additional room designs.
