Nelson de Araújo Design offers a collection of contemporary chairs

An innovator in luxury collectible furniture, Portuguese design studio Nelson de Araújo Design has lifted the curtain on an all-new selection of high-end lighting fixtures for the home. The collection, operating as living art for the homehosts three iterations of chairs inspired by natural influences.

First, the Salvador chair, available in Terracotta and Misty Beige tones, is upholstered in velvet and designed with clean lines and a series of circular shapes. Along the same lines, the Aurora Armchair, available in Misty Beige, Pearl Bouclé, Champagne Bouclé and Pink Bouclé, takes on an organic shape with three curved pillars establishing its base and an additional piece wrapping around its back. Rounding out the range, the Lola chair, which arrives in a singular pale pink colourway, enlists a velvet seat and back with contrasting solid wood legs.

“The collection captures the slower movement of mindful living and slow living, celebrating a healthier, meaningful and mindful way of living,” the brand’s notes read. “Timeless pieces of art, each creation has been carefully crafted to last a lifetime and be part of memories shared with loved ones. Each piece is handcrafted by local artisans in Portugal. Nelson de Araújo Design’s living art for the home collection is now available in store on the studio’s website. Prices range from €1,580 to €5,420.
