In the afternoon we take a refreshing bath, before starting the balmy October nights enjoying breathtaking sunsets with a glass of Cretan red wine, then feasting on local dishes in one of the two excellent restaurants in Numo.
During the hours in between, we explored the beaches and local towns, the uninhabited island of Spinalonga and the particularly notable towns of Plaka and Elounda. We also had the joy of experiencing the wonderful team of Bioroma Crete, a pioneering organic cosmetics and perfume company with whom we created our own fragrances in one of their delicious perfume workshops.
