The holiday season has arrived, and so has consumer enthusiasm for shopping and new purchases. People haven’t been able to fully enjoy the festivities for the past two years due to the pandemic, but with the worst behind us, they can’t wait to make the most of it this year.
Consumers are waiting for deals and offers from their most wanted brands and products, as is customary in this season of joy. Times Wishlist is back this year to ask the most important questions for the holiday season.
“Times Wishlist” is a campaign that asks consumers which brands and products they want during the holiday season. This year, they were also asked about failed experiences over the past two years that made up their failing list.
3 out of 5 of our readers want to buy/upgrade their mobile phone, about 1 out of 2 chose television and 1 out of 3 opted for furniture, refrigerators, cars and air conditioners. Other choices included mattresses (23%), houses (22%), house paint (19%) and bathroom accessories (17%).
When it comes to holiday season experiences, travel is the most sought after, with 3 in 5 readers saying they miss holidays during festivals, and 44% wanting to buy new clothes and jewelry.
It is now up to the brands in these categories to be visible and to make the right offers, because a captive audience awaits them.
