Which Garden Design Best Matches Your Zodiac Sign?

Have you ever wondered how astrology plays a role in determining the best garden designs for your zodiac sign?

Recently, the experts at OnBuy Garden Furniture Sets (an online marketplace in Britain) applied astrology theory to inspire homeowners and gardeners with a passion for what garden design to choose based on the zodiac calendar.

Different styles were found to be most suitable for each zodiac sign based on personality traits, needs, and looks.

Here is what they found:

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Garden design: oversized garden

Aries likes to have a big presence, and there’s no better way to make your presence known than to think big! Micheal John McGarr, landscape designer, explained that “all garden designs need larger scale trees or shrubs to create grandeur and visual impact – even in a small backyard”. This could also be achieved through larger chairs and furniture.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Garden design: swimming pools and luxury touches

A Taurus likes to relax in serene surroundings, so swimming pools or natural pools with luxury additions that can be found in a vacation setting will give them that perfect blissful environment. Travel restrictions over the past two years have made our outdoor spaces all the more important for well-being, according to the UK Office for National Statistics, so now is more than ever the time to create the place to relax outdoors looking perfect. The Pools And Luxe Touches garden design is made for a Taurus, who likes to relax in serene surroundings. Gemini (May 21 – June 21)

Garden design: grow your own

Gemini is a busy sign that some say needs a clone of itself to get everything done. Therefore, a project garden that requires a lot of attention will allow their energetic personality to have something to focus on. Growing seasonal vegetables is the perfect pastime for a busy Gemini.

Cancer (June 22 – July 22)

Garden design: low carbon garden

Those under the sign of Cancer are attractive yet intuitive, which means they easily pick up any energy around the house, and are therefore likely to be wary of the overall benefits of a low-carbon garden. Growing a hedge is considered an excellent method, according to RHS.org (Britain’s Royal Horticultural Society), as it stores carbon and provides food and shelter for wildlife.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Garden Design: Jewel Colored Gardens

This fiery fire sign is known for soaking up the sun while maintaining a natural air of royalty, so incorporating jewel colors fit for a king or queen creates that regal atmosphere any garden deserves. The combination of yellows and purples is known to be attractive to bees, and with Google Trends showing a 190% increase in search volumes for “jewel tones” in the spring of last year, it’s clear that it’s is the color of the year for spring gardens.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Garden Design: Sanctuary of Lux

Virgo earth sign represents practical and perfectionist qualities, so a luxury getaway in their own backyard is just what they need, pairing comfortable seating with beautiful natural scenery that meets their practical and perfectionist needs. For Libras, the Wildlife Conscious garden with water sources, bird feeders, and wildlife-friendly gardening practices will create a harmonious garden in which they will also thrive. Scorpio (October 24 – November 21)

Garden design: wild garden

Scorpios are strong characters who embody independence and perseverance, and a garden that embraces their wild side will best represent them. Designing a garden with lots of greenery, such as overgrown shrubs and a selection of wild, colorful plants, will fill the garden with personality and highlight its independence and bold style. The Wabi-Sabi Garden for Sagittarius embraces imperfections and focuses on ever-changing natural materials that move away from the standard sleek urban style. Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Garden design: herb garden

Pisces are generous natures, so a garden that grows herbs that they can use to cook and give to others is a perfect way to put their qualities to good use.
