Why Article Wants Outdoor Furniture Shoppers To Go To The Movies

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Article, a Scandinavian modern and mid-century furniture company, has partnered with Rooftop movie club to present Lounging Under the Stars, a summer series of outdoor movie theater furnishings in New York and Los Angeles.

New Yorkers will enjoy a seating upgrade with the reopening of RCC’s downtown location, which has been on hiatus since 2020. Later this summer, RCC will open its third location in Los Angeles with style seating Article cinema.

Moviegoers will have a choice of two bohemian-style seating options when purchasing the ticket, the deep seat Medan and amortized Air deck chairs. The lounges at both venues will also be decorated with Article outdoor furniture.

“Experiential partnerships are an opportunity for us to introduce Article to a new audience and encourage them to interact with our products in a more innovative format than a traditional showroom,” explained Duncan Blair, senior vice president of marketing at Article. “We are thrilled to partner with RCC because, like us, they want to challenge traditional guest expectations and create an unforgettable experience.”

In addition to the relaxing experience, Article provided QR codes in all locations and on every seat to allow visitors to browse Article’s outdoor collection. Basking under the stars will continue until September 5, with tickets to new york on sale now.

For Los Angeles residents, details and times for the new RCC location will be released later this season.
